Members of the Alpha Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. helped paint houses in the Baton Rouge area in a project sponsored by Louisiana State University's Office of Multicultural Affairs as part of their annual Martin Luther King Day of Service.  The event took place in February of 2004 and gathered over 200 volunteers from various other organization including members of the Iota Theta Chapter of DST on the campus of LSU.
