She moved to Fort Worth after graduating with honors from Southern University to study at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Her goal was to become a doctor and she had recently applied and been accepted to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Latarsha has a 3 year old daughter, Tanoah, who now lives with her grandmother. Please keep LaTarsha's family in your prayers. The Alpha Tau Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. mourns the loss of LaTarsha Hampton, a Fall 1998 initiate. Soror LaTarsha, a 27 year old science teacher at a Fort Worth alternative middle school was found dead on Saturday, January 28, 2006 as a result of being stabbed.
