 | Terysa Singleton Miss Black Louisiana 2007 Soror Terysa Shavon Singleton, a Spring 2003 initiate of Alpha Tau & Spring 2006 graduate from Southern University, visit Gambia, West Africa at the end of May to compete in the Miss Black USA pageant. A meet and greet ceremony was held in her honor on March 30 at the North Park Civic Center. Special guests included Opelousas Mayor Donald Cravins Sr., Sunset Mayor Cecil Lavergne and State Sen. Donald Cravins Jr. Singleton was presented with the keys to the city of Opelousas by the mayor and also honored with the keys to the city of Sunset, which is Singleton's birthplace. |
 | Kasey Barnes Dancer/Choreographer - New Orleans Saintsations, Atlanta Hawks "A-Town Dancer" Soror Barnes, a Spring 2006 initiate of Alpha Tau, can be seen showcasing her dancing talents as a 2006-2007 Atlanta Hawks "A-Town Dancer". She was voted nationwide on NBA.com. Soror Barnes was also apart of the 2005-2006 New Orleans Saintsations. Kasey is currently a student at Southern University majoring in Mass Communications. |
| Kiara 'Kiki' Ely Dancer/Choreographer Soror Ely, a former Southern University Dancing Doll, can be seen showcasing her dancing talents as Co-Choreographer and one of the Atlanta A&T Dancers in the movie Drumline. Soror Ely can also be seen in the Ja Rule & Bobby Brown music video, Thug Lovin. Kiara is currently on tour with Ashanti in New York and was one of Ashanti's featured dancers on the BET Awards Show. In addition, Kiara is Latocha Scott's (former singer in the group Xscape) choreographer and dancer. Kiara is a Spring 2000 initiate of the Alpha Tau Chapter and graduate of Southern University. |
Charis Garner New Orleans Saintsations Cheerleading Captain
Soror Garner, a Spring 1997 initiate of Alpha Tau, has been a member of the Saints NFL Cheerleading Team, widely known as the New Orleans Saintsations, for the past three years. Charis was recently selected as Line Captain and selected, once again, to shoot for their annual swimsuit calendar. She graduated from Southern University in the Spring of 1999 with a Bachelor Science in Marketing. Soror Garner is currently employed by Cox Communications as a Sales Support Engineering Analyst. Janelle Massey Jazz Band Member (Trombone)Soror Massey is a member of The Pinettes Brass Band, New Orlean's first and only all female brass ensemble. Janelle, who play the trombone, has been a member of this popular band since high school. Additionally, Soror Massey was recently sworn into the Louisiana Bar Association. She is a Spring 1997 initiate of Alpha Tau. Kim Leachman VH1 Born to Diva Finalist
Soror Leachman was featured on VH-1 in May of 2003 as on of the top 5 finalist for the 'Born to Diva' competition in Atlanta. Kim is a Spring 1995 initiate of Alpha Tau.
